Saturday Night

We did the 'little athletics' gig again today for the second time.
The boys loved it..........some of their friends are coming along too.
It's a very good set up and well organised. Not too competitive though, which means it's still in the fun category.
With Auskick, little aths, gymnastics, swimming, and our after school and holiday programs, plus a new local library, I'm amazed at the range and quality of activities there is around for primary school aged children.
Because it is local it is also a terrific opportunity to get to know other parents that live in the area. It's pretty much what all the "move to regional Victoria" ads are tyring to sell, but I'd be suprised if they can actually pull it off to the degree we have it up here.

Little Jesse is a bit off colour. Teething again we think. Happy one minute and grizzly the next. A bit of a temperature too.
It's going to be a busy week. A very busy week. But it's all over as soon as it starts and it's another week closer to holidays and Christmas and new years and birthdays and another mortgage payment made, blah, blah, blah......and that's the way we like it.....

Looks like a great time, Guys. It's terrific to be able to see photos of you guys getting out there and being so active all the time: goodness knows it's the closest I'll get to actually being active myself. Did you come second in that race, Darcy? Was that a certificate, Connor? And well done again for racing Thomas last week: I'm very impressed. Sorry to hear about Jesse, though. We've had a few rough teething nights too of late, but not as bad as they could have been. Children's Panadol is a wonderful thing! All the best for the busy week ahead.
Matt
And to think that Matthew was once an aspiring rugby player - well for at least 10 minutes anyway!
It's great to be so involved in the local community Jeff - I am sure that there will be benefits for yourselves, the church and, more importantly, the Kingdom of God.
Don't get so busy this week that you forget to 'smell the roses'!
